VRSCX, A tribute to a legend.

By Scott Keogh(Owner), Jan. 7, 2009

What can I say...

This is the nicest V-ROD I have ever had the pleasure of owning. I absolutely loved this bike!

Not only does it pay tribute to the Screamin' Eagle - Vance & Hines race teams 3X NHRA Pro Stock Championship victories, it also represents the change of the V-ROD in many ways. ...

It was the first V-ROD to have all of the features which we have grown to love about the current model. 240 rear tyre, 5 Gallon Tank, 1250 SE powerplant, Wide seat and many other subtle changes.

By far, this is the best V-ROD built in 2007! If you are lucky enough to ever own a VRSCX, you wont regret it...GUARANTEED!!

The Most Exclusive Harley Made

By Ali Ar Rasheed aka Chief Saba(Owner), Oct. 18, 2008

I own a 2007 VRSCX, #479 of 1,400 made one year, 2007. I'm 56 yrs old and have been riding since I was 13 yrs old. I have owned Harleys, A BSA and Various Japanese Bikes. I love motorcycles of all kinds!!! There are unquestionably faster, more expensive bikes but I ride my bike everyday as my main t... ransportation and it always draws crowds. For a showroom stock bike it holds its own with anything on the road. I bought it on Sept. 19, 2007 and now have almost 13k miles. The sportbike crowd are always shocked when I crank it up because it is fairly quiet but runs with them. The bagger crowd is amazed when I run with them
for hundreds of miles. It stands out in a crowd of custom bikes or sportbikes, the look is that unique. Although V-Rods are not on many folks radar I predict that soon it will be because in my opinion it is the 21st Century Harley. Chief Saba

2007 H-D VRSCX Screamin' Eagle V-Rod

By Mike Schoonmaker(Owner), Jan. 10, 2009

I'm fortunate enough to have taken delivery of one of these V&H ProStock drag racer tributes, #993/1400.

I'm thoroughly pleased with the performance, looks and reliability of this excellent piece of engineering. I recommend the H-D V-Rods to all my racing friends that still consider performa... nce key criteria in the selection process.
My addiction is torn between the vicious acceleration and subsequent rush of the broken yellow line, the roar of the throttle bodies and the surprisingly agile handling.
I've logged 11,800 grin infested miles on this bike, YTD.

above specs are inaccurate in my experience

By Tony C(Owner), Oct. 1, 2011

Just took delivery on an 05 SE and I must say a little bit of "breathing" and some higher lift cams have extremely liberated this engine.

The X has the first 1250 motor offered from the factory but unlike the standard 1250 has CNC ported and polished heads and stage II cams. Very power... ful difference over the standard 1250. Mine dynoed at 123 to the rear wheel. A huge difference over my D model when hitting that sweet spot. Seat of the pants is night and day. I think the D is out of here. Read Full Review
